Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Minister of Jobs and Families of Canada during the 2025 HLPF
On 22 July 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with the Honorable Patricia Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families of Canada, during the 2025 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), in New York.
Both sides reaffirmed readiness to enhance Thailand-Canada relations and agreed to advance cooperation, especially on education, climate change, healthcare, and sustainable development. The two ministers also discussed ways to enhance cooperation on human security and emphasized the importance of adopting a people-centered approach to development.
