Learn to Skate Spring 2026 registration opens at Sertich Ice Center, offering classes for all ages and skill levels

Registration is now open for Spring 2026 Learn to Skate USA classes at Sertich Ice Center, offering lessons for children and adults of all skill levels, from first-time skaters to advanced participants.

The program provides a structured, nationally recognized curriculum designed to build confidence, coordination, and foundational skating skills in a safe and supportive environment. Classes are available for a wide range of ages, including introductory programs for young children, youth hockey skating, teen instruction, and adult lessons with skaters advancing at their own pace as they master each level.

"The Learn to Skate program is designed to help participants of all ages build skills, confidence, and a lifelong connection to skating," said Greg Sodbinow, Program Administrator at the Sertich Ice Center & Acacia Park Rink.

Registration is available online at ColoradoSprings.gov/LearnToSkateor in person at Sertich Ice Center, 1705 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Registration ends on April 2.

Learn to Skate USA is endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, US Speed Skating, and Special Olympics, providing participants with a consistent and progressive learning experience. The program focuses on developing agility, balance, coordination, and strength while promoting physical activity and social engagement.
