SATA Azores Airlines website introduces new digital features

The SATA Azores Airlines website continues to incorporate new features aimed at enhancing the passenger experience and providing greater autonomy in travel management.

The latest update announced by the airline allows customers to change their flight dates directly through the website www.azoresairlines.pt. Until now, this service was only available through the airlines' sales offices or Contact Center. With this enhancement, passengers can now make changes to their bookings more independently and conveniently via the online platform.

The new feature enables customers to modify their outbound journey, return journey, or both segments of their trip, in accordance with the conditions applicable to the fare purchased at the time of booking. Passengers may also request an upgrade to a higher fare class.

The rules governing ticket reissuance carried out online are the same as those applicable to changes made through other contact channels, and any fees will be subject to the conditions of the original booking.

In this initial phase, the feature will be available for bookings made through the SATA Group airlines' websites. At a later stage, the online modification option will also be extended to bookings made through the airline's sales offices, Contact Center, and travel agencies.
