Arrest Made in Homicide Investigation in Manchester, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr announce that an arrest has been made in the stabbing death of Christopher Marcoux, age 25, on May 18, 2026.

Antonio Cajigas, age 22, has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Christopher Marcoux under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by stabbing him. It is anticipated that Mr. Cajigas will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester tomorrow.

The investigation into Mr. Marcoux's death is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation. The charge and allegations against Antonio Cajigas are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
