Registration Now Open for Sierra Kids Gymnastic Classes

The City of Reno's Sierra Kids Program is expanding, offering new gymnastics classes! Sierra Kids Saturday Gymnastics Classes is a six-week course designed for different ages and skill levels. All classes are taught by a seasoned gymnastic instructor.

Registration is open now, with classes starting on March 7. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The full six-week session costs $125 per child. RecConnect discounts are available for families with an existing membership, as well as sliding scale discounts based on household income and for families with multiple children.

All classes will be held at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.

Class Options:

• Tiny Tumblers
  • Ages 3-5
  • 9 a.m.-9:45 a.m.
• Junior Tumblers
  • Ages 6-13
  • 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
• Power Tumblers
  • Ages 6-13; must be able to do a cartwheel
  • 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m.

For sliding scale discounts, families will need to visit the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center with a current pay stub (if individual) or previous year's tax return to apply those savings.
