DALLAS - What began as a way to beat boredom at age 11 has grown into a student-run business for North Dallas High School student Willo S. Founder of Puc.ker Up! By Willo Dior, she launched her cosmetics line in 2020 after researching safe, naturally derived formulas with her mother. Now sold through her own website, the brand features hydrating glosses made with ingredients such as coconut oil, grapeseed oil, and avocado oil. Through North Dallas High School's Career and Technical Education business pathway, Willo is refining her skills in marketing, finance, and branding while gaining real-world experience as a young entrepreneur.

First-year educators set to receive classroom support
C.A. Tatum, Jr. Elementary School will receive a visit from United to Learn at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 10, as three first-year Dallas ISD educators are surprised with New Teacher Support Grants and celebratory gift baskets. Funded by the College Football Playoff Foundation and other donors, the initiative helps reduce out-of-pocket costs by supporting teachers' DonorsChoose projects and strengthening classroom learning environments.
High school students share Valentine's Day gratitude with local veterans
Students and staff at H. Grady Spruce High School crafted Valentine's Day cards with personalized messages of appreciation for local U.S. veterans. Led by the school's JROTC instructor and veteran, Koral Green, the activity emphasized and reminded students the importance of gratitude and respect for those who have served.
