INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED:

Keshaun M. Williams Age: 38 Address: Manhattan, NY

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to 122 Vaughn Road in the Town of Kingsbury for a child not breathing. Upon arrival a two (2) month old infant was found to be not breathing and was transported to Glens Hospital by the Fort Edward Rescue Squad. Upon arrival at the hospital the child was pronounced deceased. The scene was secured by the Sheriff's Office, and a Search Warrant was executed at the address.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Investigation Units. As a result of the Search Warrant a male occupant, the father of the infant, Keshaun M. Williams was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree, a class A-II Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, a class D Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A Misdemeanor.

Williams is being held at the Washington County Jail awaiting arraignment in Centralized Arraignment on October 6th at 8am. An Autopsy on the infant is scheduled for Monday, October 6th, 2025. This investigation is on-going and anyone with information about the residence in question or the occupants of the residence is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office Investigations Division.
