GEG Recognized as Top Winner at HR Excellence Awards 2026; Honored with the Grand Winner Award for its Excellence in Talent Development

November 4, 2026 - Galaxy Entertainment Group ("GEG") continues to support the Macau SAR Government's policy direction of "Building Macau Through Talent Development" through a diverse and holistic people development strategy aimed at nurturing the workforce needed for the future growth of the industry. Recently, GEG received eight accolades at the HR Excellence Awards 2026, organized by Human Resources Online, a leading Human Resources publication in Asia, including the "Grand Winner Award". In recognition of its achievements in talent development, leadership cultivation, employee wellbeing, community engagement, and environmental, social and governance ("ESG") strategy, GEG also garnered seven additional accolades, including five Gold awards for "Excellence in Employee Development", "Excellence in Leadership Development", "Excellence in Internship Recruitment & Development", "Excellence in Employee Volunteerism", and "Excellence in ESG Strategy"; a Silver award for "Excellence in Employee Care & Wellbeing"; and a Bronze award for "Excellence in Learning & Development". As the only integrated tourism and leisure enterprise in Macau among this year's award recipients, the recognition reflects GEG's comprehensive strengths in people development, employee care, and corporate governance.

Ms. Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG, led representatives, including members of the Human Resources management team, in attending the award ceremony and receiving awards. GEG continues to enhance its talent development framework through structured training programs, cross-functional development opportunities, and career advancement pathways, enabling team members to strengthen their professional capabilities and broaden their career prospects. To date, GEG has provided nearly 36,000 promotion and horizontal opportunities, delivered more than 16 million cumulative training hours, and offered over 6,000 training programs. Among these efforts, GEG works closely with the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government ("DSAL"), local associations, and higher education institutions to provide professional training and skills certification opportunities for team members. Initiatives such as the "IR-LEAD Career Diversification Program", the "Cross-Functional Hybrid Role Program" and the "GEG IRISE Program" demonstrate GEG's commitment to developing versatile professionals with cross-disciplinary capabilities. Moreover, through programs jointly launched with DSAL, including "GEG IR Youth Development Program", the "GEG IR Career Spark Program", and the "U-LEAD Internship Program", GEG continues to create career development and exploration opportunities for local youth. GEG also supports the advancement of local higher education in Macau through scholarships, donations, and a wide range of professional sharing and exchange activities. Most recently, GEG donated MOP1 million to the Macao University of Tourism Development Foundation to further strengthen industry-academia collaboration and help nurture the next generation of tourism professionals.
