Rules of Seat Freeze, Betterment and Participation in CAP Round 2

State CET Cell rules on seat retention that apply to candidates during the post-allotment phase are as follows:

Auto-Freeze (Commitment of admission): When you get your 1st choice, your seat is automatically frozen by the system. You need to pay the online fee and report to the college. You are prohibited from joining CAP Round 2.

Self-Freeze (Voluntary Acceptance): If you get your 2nd or lower preference and you are happy, you can opt for "Self-Freeze," pay the fee, and report to the college to accept admission.

Betterment / Not Freeze (Upgrade option): Keep your existing lower preference seat and try for a higher college in Round 2 by clicking on "Not Freeze / Betterment" and paying the online fee.
