The annual grant program will distribute $180,000 to support local artists and nonprofit arts organizations whose work reflects "Stories That Unite Us in Santa Ana."
SANTA ANA, Calif. - The City of Santa Ana's Arts & Culture Office has officially opened applications for the 2025-2026 Investing in the Artist Grant Program. A total of $180,000 is available to support qualified individual artists and nonprofit organizations that contribute to the city's vibrant creative community.
Under the program guidelines:
Individual artists may apply for grants of up to $10,000
Nonprofit arts organizations may apply for grants of up to $20,000
This year's theme, "Stories That Unite Us in Santa Ana," celebrates artistic projects that reflect the shared experiences, cultures, and narratives that shape the community.
"The Investing in the Artist Grant Program reflects Santa Ana's commitment to strengthening our creative economy and uplifting the voices that make our city unique," said [Mayor/Arts & Culture representative quote if desired]. "By investing in our artists, we are investing in community identity, cultural expression, and economic opportunity."
Applications are available now and must be submitted by March 23, 2026.
Applicants must attend one of the following mandatory virtual Information Sessions:

March 17, 2026 | 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. (Zoom)

February 23, 2026 - Application Opens
March 23, 2026 - Applications Due
April 16, 2026 - Funding recommendations from the Arts & Culture Commission
June-July 2026 - Artists notified
