COLUMBUS - State Representatives Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) and Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) welcomed Miss Ohio 2025 Olivia Fosson to the Ohio Statehouse and recognized her during House session. The Ohio House of Representatives adopted House Resolution 456, honoring Fosson's achievement and recognizing her as an outstanding Ohioan.
"Olivia Fosson is a wonderful role model for young women across Ohio. Her journey from growing up on a family Christmas tree farm in Appalachian Ohio, to earning the title of Miss Ohio while pursuing a law degree, demonstrates the power of perseverance, hard work, and service to others," said Miller. "Through her advocacy, leadership, and commitment to helping young people recognize their value and potential, Olivia has represented our state with grace and distinction. It was an honor to welcome her to the Statehouse and recognize her many accomplishments."
Fosson recently represented the Buckeye State at the 2026 Miss America Competition and is currently studying for the bar after graduating from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
