Tyler Public Library hosts Winter Reading Challenge

The Tyler Public Library (TPL) is excited to announce the return of its annual Winter Reading Challenge, inviting the entire Tyler community to participate in a fun, free literacy initiative designed to promote reading throughout the holiday season. The challenge is open to all ages and will run from December 1 to January 31, 2026.

How to Participate

  • Sign Up: Readers must register or log in at Tpl.Beanstack.org. Alternatively, youth readers can pick up a paper log at the library.
  • Log Reading: Participants simply log the time they spend reading between December 1 and January 31 on Beanstack or their paper log.
  • Earn Rewards: Upon meeting the reading goal for their age group, participants will be eligible to claim a prize from the library.

TPL encourages families to read together and motivate each other to reach their goals. This two-month challenge is a perfect way to keep young minds engaged during school breaks and encourage adults to make time for personal reading. The Winter Reading Challenge is one of many programs offered to engage the community and celebrate the joy of books.
