Multiple construction projects on and near the University of Wyoming campus may temporarily affect access to some Coe Library services and library materials this summer.
A city of Laramie construction project along Ivinson Avenue is expected to affect access near the library, including the Coe Library exterior book drop.
Additionally, a UW landscaping project north of Coe Library at the site of the former Wyoming Union parking lot may affect pedestrian traffic around the building and increase walking distances to the entrance. Patrons are encouraged to follow posted directional signage and use designated pedestrian routes and accessible pathways when visiting the library.
Separately, Level 4 of Coe Library is closed through mid-June as part of an ongoing carpet replacement project. Study spaces on that floor will be temporarily inaccessible during construction. To access the collections on Level 4, contact the Coe Library help desk.
UW Libraries encourages faculty, staff and students to use the libraries' "Hold for Me" service to request materials through QuickSearch. Requested items, as well as requests placed through Prospector and interlibrary loan, may be picked up at Coe Library, the Geology Library or the Law Library. Materials also may be returned at any of those locations.
For additional questions about library access, services or materials, call the Coe Library help desk at (307) 766-3190 or email [email protected].
