Senate Republican lawmakers are currently redrafting portions of their party-line reconciliation bill to avoid a Democrat filibuster after Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough ruled that some provisions would not qualify.
Republicans will need to move quickly to regroup, or they risk missing Trump's self-imposed June 1 deadline to get a bill to his desk. Senate Republicans are aiming to pass the bill this week and send it to the House for their consideration.
The Senate is in session Monday through Friday, and the House is in session Monday through Thursday.
The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing on Examining the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, MACRA, and Opportunities for Payment Reforms on Wednesday, May 20 at 2:00 PM ET.
The Senate HELP Committee will hold a full committee hearing on Protecting Our Children: Exposing the Dangers of Irreversible Gender Transition Procedures on Minors on Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 AM ET.
