Dentons Lee Senior Attorney Ki-Jeung Park participated as a speaker at "Construction Arbitration in India: Managing Infrastructure Risks and Resolving Complex Project Disputes," hosted by Dentons Link Legal in New Delhi, India.
The seminar brought together international construction and arbitration practitioners from Dentons offices across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Korea to discuss key legal and practical issues arising from increasingly complex construction and infrastructure projects.
Approximately 100 participants attended the seminar, including project owners, construction companies and industry experts in India, as well as representatives of international construction companies operating in the Indian market. The event provided a valuable forum for sharing practical perspectives on cross-border project risks, dispute prevention and resolution strategies, and emerging trends in international construction arbitration.
During the seminar, Ki-Jeung Park, who leads Dentons Lee's international construction and dispute resolution practice, spoke on Cross-Border Challenges and Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS). Drawing on his extensive experience advising on major overseas construction, infrastructure and energy projects, he shared insights into key legal and practical issues that companies may face in cross-border construction projects and related disputes.
The seminar also provided an opportunity for Dentons' international construction and arbitration practitioners from multiple jurisdictions to exchange perspectives and further strengthen collaboration across Dentons' global network.
Dentons Lee will continue to support clients in overseas construction and infrastructure projects and related disputes by leveraging its experience in international construction and arbitration together with Dentons' global capabilities.
