Barr Honored for A+ Rating from NumbersUSA for Strong Border Security Record

Washington, D.C.-This week, NumbersUSA honored U.S. Congressman Andy Barr (R-KY) with an A+ Rating. Barr is one of 23 House Members who received NumbersUSA's highest grade for championing stronger border security legislation. NumbersUSA is the premier education and research organization that stands for sensible, limited and enforced immigration in the United States.

"I've stood shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump in working to secure our border," said Congressman Barr. "From delivering funding for the wall, to leading the defense of Trump's authority to build the wall in federal court, to backing the largest investment in DHS ever passed, I've been there every step of the fight for border security with President Trump. I'll continue working with President Trump, Secretary Noem, and Tom Homan to lock down the border once and for all."

"Andy Barr has earned a 100% A+ rating on NumbersUSA's congressional grade card," said Mike Hough, co-President of NumbersUSA. "That rating reflects Rep. Barr's leadership in Congress on border security and enforcing our nation's immigration laws. He is advancing our top priorities: ending birthright citizenship loopholes, cracking down on illegal immigrants obtaining commercial driver's licenses, and preventing abuse of the asylum system. We are grateful to have strong leaders like Andy Barr working to pass tougher immigration laws in Congress."

During this first session of the 119th Congress, Congressman Barr voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which allocated $170B to secure the border. He also introduced a constitutional amendment to prohibit the children of illegal immigrants from obtaining birthright citizenship. Recently, Barr and Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) introduced a bill to crack down on liberal states giving illegal immigrants commercial driver's licenses that have led to the deaths of Americans in recent months.
