Moving Lane Closure for Tree Work on Kennett Pike
Wilmington - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces a moving lane closure on Kennett Pike for scheduled tree maintenance on Tuesday, August 4, and Wednesday, August 5, 2026(pending weather.)
Work will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Crews will begin just south of Kirk Road and progress north to the Pennsylvania state line. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures and minor delays as the work zone moves along the corridor.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use caution when traveling through the work zone, and allow extra travel time.
