ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The FEMA and State of Alaska Call Centers and the Bethel Assistance Hub supporting survivors affected by the severe storms, flooding and remnants of Typhoon Halong Oct. 8-13, 2025, will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of Presidents' Day.
Both call centers and the hub will resume normal business hours on Feb. 17. The deadline to apply for state and FEMA Individual Assistance is Feb. 20, 2026.
The Alaska Call Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The center is closed Sundays. Survivors may contact the Alaska Call Center at 1-866-342-1699. Yup'ik interpreters are available to support the call center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday. If you need a reasonable accommodation, contact the Alaska Call Center.
At the Bethel Assistance Hub, FEMA staff will assist survivors with registering for disaster assistance, answering questions and uploading required documentation. The center is open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Yup'ik interpreters are available.

Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration offers low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses and nonprofits. SBA representatives are on hand 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center at Bethel City Hall, 300 Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy. The center will also be closed Feb. 16 and will reopen Feb 17. For more information, apply online at https://www.sba.gov/disaster or call 1-800-659-2955. The deadline to apply for physical damage is Feb. 20, 2026.
Feb. 20 is the deadline to apply with SBA for a low-interest loan for physical property damage.
