Milling and Resurfacing of the Stamford Commuter Lot off Route 137

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on the Stamford Commuter Lot off Route 137. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, November 17 and be completed on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The project DOT01730543CN consists of milling and resurfacing the Stamford Commuter Lot off Route 137. This project is scheduled to begin milling and paving by Waters Construction on Monday, November 17 to Thursday November 20, 2025.

This project is included in CTDOT's 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect closure of the Stamford Commuter Lot off Route 137. Variable message sign boards will be posted at the commuter lot sight at least 72 hours before the closure of the lot. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday night to Thursday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
