Redevelopment Converts Former City of South Fulton Landfill into Productive Industrial Use

South Fulton - October 29, 2025 - 9606 Capital, LLC has begun redevelopment of a long-neglected property on Bishop Road in the City of South Fulton. The site, once used as an illegal landfill, is being cleaned and redeveloped as Bishop Industrial Park, a new location for light industrial and logistics operations.

The property had been a source of concern for nearby residents due to past dumping and occasional fires. 9606 Capital purchased the site with the goal of addressing those environmental issues and returning the land to productive use.

This project represents what's possible when public and private partners share a vision for renewal," said District 4 Councilman Jaceey Sebastian. "The City of South Fulton and 9606 Capital worked side by side to take a site once defined by pollution and transform it into one that creates opportunity and pride, while adding revenue to the city's tax base in an environmentally friendly and responsible way"

The City of South Fulton supported the effort through rezoning and regulatory coordination, while 9606 Capital is leading cleanup and redevelopment activities.

The city management and council took this project seriously, were great partners, worked diligently to ensure it was completed correctly, and Councilman Sebastian pulled out all the stops to make it happen."

The development will include light manufacturing and logistics facilities with environmentally responsible site design.
