Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Rachael Bruketta has joined the firm as an associate in the Energy and Environmental Group, based in the firm's Chicago office.
Bruketta brings a strong background in renewable energy and regulatory law. Most recently, she served as Associate Legal Counsel at the Illinois Power Agency, where she managed competitive procurement events supporting Illinois' renewable energy goals, litigated before the Illinois Commerce Commission, and helped develop procurement plans for energy, capacity, and renewable resources. Her experience also includes work with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Department of the Interior, and the Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development.

Bruketta earned both her J.D. and Master of Energy Regulation and Law from Vermont Law School, where she was Senior Articles Editor of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law. She also holds a graduate-level certificate in corporate sustainability and innovation from Harvard University Extension School and is admitted to practice in Illinois.
