WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) applauded the U.S. House of Representatives passing key federal funding bills, set to avoid a second devastating government shutdown ahead of the January 30, 2026 deadline. The bipartisan funding measures passed following months of bipartisan work to ensure that critical programs to help children, families, seniors, and service members continue to be funded.
