Only three westbound lanes will be open to Pennsylvania on the Walt Whitman Bridge during the Friday, March 6 morning rush, instead of the normal four lanes typically available on weekday mornings.
The lane restriction is the result of repairs needed to a section of barrier wall damaged by a vehicle. Until the repair is completed, DRPA will not be able to move the barrier wall from its current configuration to accommodate traffic demand. The repair is expected to be completed over the weekend, after which normal lane configurations will resume.
Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time.
