NEW: Vulnerable GOP Candidates Asked “To Return Donations Over Ties To Project 2025”

"Candidates downplayed the blueprint for a Trump administration even as they received money from supporters of the Heritage Foundation, which organized the plan."

Six vulnerable House Republicans are under fire after new reporting exposed them for their ties to the deeply unpopular Project 2025.

Vulnerable Reps. David Schweikert, Mike Garcia, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Don Bacon, Brandon Williams, and Lori Chavez-DeRemer accepted "between $9,000 and $127,000 in donations from people affiliated with the Heritage Foundation" - despite claiming they had never heard of Project 2025.

House Republicans have spent the past two years pushing some of Project 2025's most extreme policies - including restricting access to medication abortion nationwide, raising prescription drug prices, and raising taxes on middle class families.

DCCC battleground polling shows that a majority of registered voters dislike Project 2025, including 62% of independents.

DCCC Spokesperson Jacob Haythorn:
"House Republicans can't hide from the votes they've taken and the cash they've lined their campaign accounts with. They know their Project 2025 agenda is out of touch and will cost them their reelections, and that's why they are desperately trying to lie to the voters who will hold them accountable in 12 days."
