With record-breaking snowfall recorded in Escambia County today, Tuesday, Jan. 21, all roads and bridges in Escambia County should be considered impassable until further notice due to hazardous driving conditions.
Emergency vehicles should be the only vehicles on the road until further notice. Drivers should suspend any travel tonight and tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 22. Road conditions will remain hazardous even after snowfall has stopped, with hazardous conditions continuing through at least tomorrow.
Escambia County will continue monitoring road conditions and will provide updates as new information is available.
