ATU Pennsylvania attends 2025 Rally for Transit Funding in Harrisburg, PA

Tuesday, May 13, 2025
Today at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg, PA, ATU Pennsylvania Locals and the TWU joined with riders, legislators and, allies from across the Keystone State for the 2025 Rally for Transit Funding
The crowd gathered in the Capitol rotunda to demand real, sustainable investment in public transit. ATU Pennsylvania Joint Conference Board and Local 85-Pittsburgh, PA, President Ross Nicotero and ATU International Vice President Ray Greaves along, with other speakers, sent a clear message: public transit is essential - and it needs funding now.
Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis and his Local 85 father stood shoulder to shoulder with our Pennsylvania Local members to protect jobs, fight for better service, and defend the future of our transit systems. The energy was powerful, the voices were united, and the message was loud.
This rally was just the beginning. We'll keep organizing, keep pushing, and keep fighting - because every community deserves reliable, well-funded public transportation.
Thank you to everyone who joined the ATU and TWU at the Capitol in Harrisburg, PA!
