Marquette Companions in Ministry will host a Soup with Substance panel discussion featuring three pastors of color in Milwaukee on Wednesday, March 25, at noon in the AMU Lunda Room.
Genene Onaye Hibbler is a strategic leader, motivational speaker, author and poet with more than 30 years in ministry and more than 40 years in public service. She is the author of "Navigating a Hurricane of Hurts" and focuses on resilience, purposeful living and inclusive leadership.
Walter F. Harvey provides apostolic leadership to Embassy Center Milwaukee and serves as executive director of PRISM Economic Development Corporation in Milwaukee, where efforts focus on entrepreneurship and community revitalization. He also founded the WI+H Movement, which equips churches and leaders to address community challenges.
Temo Rios is a bilingual licensed local pastor born in Chicago to Mexican immigrant parents. He serves congregations in Wisconsin and is pursuing ministerial studies at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, with a focus on fostering inclusive and welcoming faith communities.
