Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov meets management of National Museum of Oman

On December 20, 2025 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Oman, Assistant to the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Sultan Qaboos University, Mona bint Fahd al Said, and the Secretary General of the National Museum of Oman, Jamal al-Moosawi.

The meeting took place as part of the visit of the Omani delegation to open an exhibition of Omani traditional silverware, which will run from December 2025 to April 2026 at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.

During the conversation, the parties emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between Belarus and Oman in the field of culture and education. A detailed discussion took place on the possibilities of connecting the National Museum of Oman to the construction project of the new National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the invitation of the Belarusian Head of State. There are plans to exchange exhibitions, as well as tours of creative teams in 2026-2027.

The interlocutors particularly noted the high assessment of the level of dialogue between the Republic and the Sultanate of Oman, given by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during the second meeting of the VII All-Belarusian National Assembly, as well as the increased attention of the leaders of the two countries to the development of mutual cooperation.
