The Essex business gave Brownies, Guides and Rangers in Marks Tey a helping hand to ensure they could enjoy a celebratory trip to Norfolk.
Charles Church Essex have donated £3,000 towards the Tey District trip to Hautbois Activity Centre in Norfolk at the weekend.
A group of 39 girls aged between seven and 18, and 10 leaders, travelled by train to the outdoor centre to celebrate the 100th anniversary of World Thinking Day - a day celebrated by Guides and Scouts all over the world.
Charni Kemp, District Commissioner for Tey, said: "We wanted to mark Thinking Day in a special way this year as it is the 100th anniversary and with this donation we were able to organise additional activities, pay for transport and make this a trip the girls will remember for years to come. Thank you to Charles Church for this funding, it has made a huge different to us all."
Richard Hush, Managing Director of Charles Church Essex, said: "At Charles Church we work to build more than just homes, we want to build stronger communities. The volunteers in Marks Tey, Stanway and Lexden put in hours of their time to ensure the young members can experience trips like this and it is a pleasure to be able to support them."
The Essex team has a proud history of building homes in the area, and are currently in the final stages of the Grange Paddocks development off London Road, Stanway.
Last year the business completed the land purchase of Phase 5 at Wyvern Farm, with outline planning permission for 505 new homes. A detailed planning application has now been submitted including 114 new Charles Church-branded homes, benefitting from open-plan layouts on the ground floor, bi-fold doors, kitchen islands and luxurious bathrooms.
The development will offer 104 homes for those whose needs are not met by the open market offering a mix of shared ownership homes and homes for affordable rent. Land within the site has been allocated for a new primary school, and through the Section 106 agreement the developer will contribute £7.5m for community benefits.
