Registration for Making Marquette Inclusive summer sessions now open

Sponsored by the Division of Belonging and Student Affairs, the Making Marquette Inclusive discussion series provides faculty and staff with the opportunity to examine issues of diversity, equity and inclusion as they relate to our day-to-day work and reinforces the value of working across differences.

Through short articles, videos and a series of facilitated conversations, participants in this eight-week mini-course explore themes such as implicit bias, privilege, microaggressions, the promotion of justice and effective dialogue orientations.

MMI 1.0 cohorts for the summer will start after the Gift of Time; exact dates and times will be announced at a later date. If interested, complete the form to receive details.

For those who have already completed MMI, there are several MMI 2.0 cohorts being offered this spring that extend the learning themes and take participants from reflection to action. If you are interested in continuing the MMI journey, register for MMI 2.0 this summer on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in person.

To date, over 300 employees have participated in this program. Read what other participants have to say about their experience.
