More than 250 University of Maryland Medical System Physicians Recognized as 'Top Doctors' in Baltimore Magazine 2026 Survey

More than 250 physicians in 80 adult and pediatric specialties and subspecialties who provide care across University of Maryland Medical System hospitals and care locations have been recognized as "Top Doctors" in the November 2026 issue of Baltimore magazine.

The "Top Doctors" selections are based on peer nominations and evaluated by a panel of physician advisors representing multiple Maryland health systems and hospitals. This year's Baltimore magazine Top Doctors list includes physicians across more than 125 specialties and subspecialties.

UMMS hospitals in Central Maryland include the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) Downtown and Midtown campuses, the System's flagship academic medical center in Baltimore City; University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie (Anne Arundel County); University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson (Baltimore County); University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air and Aberdeen (Harford County); and University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute in Baltimore City. UMMS also co-owns Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. Other UMMS member organizations include University of Maryland Capital Region Health in Prince George's County, University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in Charles County, and University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, which serves Maryland's Mid-Shore region.
