All Faculty Forum Featuring the Seawolf Debate Team, April 4
This year's Faculty Forum, sponsored by the Faculty Senate, will feature the Seawolf Speech and Debate Team arguing the motion "The University should prioritize its core mission of educating students over freedom of speech issues."
The debate will be followed by responses from UAA faculty and then open to community discussion. The proposition will be argued by Monica Fast and Brooke Earle; and the opposition will be argued by Casi LeBlanc and Dan Hires. Faculty respondents include Dr. Stephanie Bauer, Philosophy; Dr. Carrie King, Nutrition and Dietetics; and Dr. Gerad Smith, Anthropology & Geography.
