El Cajon, CA - December 4th, 2025 - The Cajon Valley Union School District and the El Cajon Police Department are partnering once again to bring Hope for the Holidays - a community initiative aimed at blessing children and families facing hardship during the Christmas season.
Through this partnership, up to 30 local students will each receive up to $250 in support to help meet practical needs such as clothing, shoes, essentials, or meaningful gifts. The initiative seeks to ensure every child experiences dignity, joy, and hope during the holidays.
"For some families, this time of year can be especially difficult," said David Miyashiro, Cajon Valley Superintendent. "Hope for the Holidays allows us to come together as a community to provide relief and remind families that they're not alone!"
This collaborative effort highlights the power of partnership between educators, law enforcement, and local organizations who care deeply for the children and families of El Cajon.
