FORT WORTH, Texas - As the final whistle blew on FIFA World Cup 26™, American Airlines brought fans together for an unforgettable celebration 100 floors above New York City. As the Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 26™, in partnership with Qatar Airways, the airline hosted the official American Airlines x FIFA World Cup 26™ Final Party at Edge NYC at Hudson Yards, creating a one-of-a-kind way to experience the end of the world's biggest tournament.
Even as the FIFA World Cup 26™ final reached more than a billion viewers around the world, only a fraction of fans could experience the match from inside the stadium. At Edge NYC - the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere - American welcomed AAdvantage® members, including winners of its Spot the Bag campaign, and special guests for one of the most exclusive FIFA World Cup 26™ final celebrations in the United States, featuring a surprise performance by Grammy Award-winning artist, producer and DJ, Zedd.
"Throughout FIFA World Cup 26™, we've focused on creating meaningful moments that brought fans closer to the excitement of the tournament, on and off the field" said American's Chief Marketing Officer Caroline Clayton. "From connecting fans to all 16 Host Cities through our industry-leading network to creating exclusive access through the AAdvantage® program to unforgettable experiences like our FIFA World Cup 26™ Final Party at Edge NYC, we're proud to have connected fans to the world's biggest tournament in ways only American could."

After Zedd announced a surprise appearance at Edge NYC following the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, fans gathered at Hudson Yards for the chance to attend American's Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Final Party. The first 100 AAdvantage® members received access to the exclusive event, showcasing how American continues to turn loyalty into access and connect members to the experiences they're most passionate about.
