FLETC Unveils Official Flag, Honoring Mission, History, and Unity

On February 12, 2026, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) commemorated a historic occasion with the unveiling of its new flag during simultaneous ceremonies at all four training delivery points: Glynco, Georgia; Cheltenham, Maryland; Charleston, South Carolina; and Artesia, New Mexico. The event brought together staff, instructors, and leadership, including Director Benjamine C. Huffman and site directors, who reflected on FLETC's legacy and its enduring commitment to vigilance, strength, and service. The new flag, featuring an eagle, a green foundation, a shield, scales of justice, a law book, and four stars, was presented as a powerful symbol of unity and dedication to the rule of law. Leaders emphasized that while each site maintains its unique spirit and guidon, the FLETC flag serves to unite all locations under a shared mission. The ceremonies concluded with the posting of the flag and the Pledge of Allegiance, marking a significant milestone in FLETC's history and reaffirming its role in preparing law enforcement professionals nationwide.
