'Seeds and Stories with Diane Wilson', Nov. 6

Diane Wilson will be giving a talk at UAA's Recital Hall titled 'Seeds and Stories with Diane Wilson' on Nov. 6.

Tickets start at $30 via Centertix. This lecture is part of the College of Arts and Sciencies (CAS) Community Lecture Series; past installments with Bill Nye and Jeff Lowenfels drew strong interest, and CAS is hoping to build on that momentum with this event.

Wilson's novel 'The Seed Keeper' is the CAS' Book of the Year. CAS is partnering with the National Endowment for the Arts, 49 Writers, Anchorage Public Library and the Alaska Humanities Forum to create community programming inspired by the book. Planned events include a creative writing workshop with Wilson, a community potlatch, a library celebration, and gardening workshop. CAS will also be distributing free copies of 'The Seed Keeper' at select events to encourage broad community engagement.

Event location - UAA Recital Hall
Event date - Nov. 6, 2025
