Taft Ranks No. 67 in 2025 NLJ 500

Taft has been ranked No. 67 in the 2025 National Law Journal (NLJ) 500, an annual ranking of the largest law firms in the United States, based on the average number of full-time equivalent attorneys in fiscal year 2024. The firm reported 824 total FTE lawyers in 2024 - a 5.39% increase over the previous year.

Taft now comprises more than 1,050 attorneys from the Mountain West region to Washington, D.C. The firm's expansion will continue in Florida and the Southeast through a merger with the Mrachek Law Firm, a litigation boutique based in West Palm Beach and Stuart, to become effective June 30, 2025.
