Virtual Community Meeting #2 - November 13thPost Date:11/05/2025 12:23 PM Dear Community Members, We're excited to invite you to our second community meeting for the I-80 Des Plaines River Bridge Community Plan! This is your opportunity to see and provide input on the proposed concepts for community improvements. Meeting Details Date: Thursday, November 13th Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM Format: Virtual via Zoom Registration: tiny.cc/i80communitymeeting What to Expect at the Meeting We'll share the draft community vision, highlight community needs, and explore proposed concepts for the trail and other community spaces. These concepts have been developed based on all the feedback we've gathered from you throughout this process. This is YOUR opportunity to help shape how the $3.5 million in IDOT mitigation funds will be used to benefit our community! Help Us Spread the Word We kicked off our announcement with door-to-door flyering to all residents. Please help us ensure strong participation by sharing this invitation with your neighbors, friends, and family. The more voices we hear, the better our community plan will be.
