Caldecott Tunnel Overnight Closure on Westbound State Route 24 Bore #3 Maintenance Activities

Alameda and Contra Costa Counties - Caltrans has updated its schedule for Plenum floor coring operations and routine tunnel maintenance; and will implement an overnight closure of Bore 3 on westbound SR-24 of the Caldecott.

Closure for Bore #3 WB SR-24: 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Nightly

During these closures, all other bores in each direction will remain open. All work is weather dependent.

Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays, prepare to merge and allow extra travel time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
