Rep. Stansbury Demands Immediate Congressional Action Following Unauthorized Strikes on Iran
WASHINGTON, D.C.- Representative Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) issued a statement this morning condemning unauthorized strikes against Iran.
"This morning, Donald Trump launched direct strikes against Iran without congressional authorization-endangering regional stability, American service members, and U.S. national security.
Make no mistake-this is illegal.
The American people have been clear they don't want another war in the Middle East-they want healthcare, affordable housing, and care for our communities. Congress must act now to stop this war before it escalates."
