CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2027 LIVE Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the date sheet for the Secondary and Senior School Certificate (Class 10th and Class 12th) examination 2026-27. More than 38 lakh students in India and abroad are waiting for the subject-wise timetable. The complete date sheet will be made available in PDF format on the official website at cbse.gov.in . Based on the board's hints and yearly schedules, we can anticipate that the official date sheet is going to be published before October 30, 2026. The main theory examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 are expected to begin from mid-February 2027 across the country, whereas practical exams and internal assessments for non-winter bound schools will commence from the first week of January 2027.

CBSE Board Examination: Passing Criteria

The fundamental passing rule established by CBSE requires candidates to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to be declared as passed. However, the evaluation mechanics differ significantly between Class 10 and Class 12.

CBSE is likely to release the 2027 date sheet with adequate gaps between major subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accountancy, and Biology so that students can plan their revision well. The Class 10 and Class 12 theory examinations will be held in a single morning shift from 10:30 AM. Candidates will get 15 minutes to read the question paper before they start writing. Students are also required to have a mandatory 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for the CBSE board examinations.
