Happenings at Green Cay Nature Center

Green Cay Nature Center is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located at 12800 Hagen Ranch Road, west of Boynton Beach. Start the day off with a Florida bird presentation followed by a one-hour birding tour with one of our naturalists. Bring binoculars and your field guide if you have them.

SCIENCE FOR SENIORS

Come see a free presentation on the history of Green Cay, how it came to be, and what the future holds for this unique park on its 20th anniversary.

ARCHERY 101
Saturday, February 22, 10 a.m.
Ages 9+, $10/participant (Reservations required, limit 12)
Join a USA Archery Certified Instructor to learn the basics of archery and develop a fun new skill! This 1.5-hour program will start with a demonstration followed by target practice! All equipment provided, please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and sun protection as it takes place outdoors.

NIGHT STALKERS
Wednesday, February 26, 6 p.m.
Ages 9+, $5/participant (Reservations required, limit 20)
Join a naturalist on a nighttime boardwalk tour looking at nature from the point of view of its nocturnal residents. Flashlights are recommended, but not required.
