Norton Rose Fulbright partner Ben Montanez (San Antonio) has been recognized by The American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service as a 2025 Pro Bono Leader.
The ABA committee recognized Ben and the firm for their extraordinary pro bono contributions to the ABA Free Legal Answers program. This honor recognizes lawyers, law firms and other corporate law departments for answering 75 or more pro bono questions through ABA's Free Legal Answers. Ben has personally answered hundreds of civil legal questions on Free Legal Answers over the last several years.
"Norton Rose Fulbright's pro bono and civic legacies are woven into the DNA of the firm, and they are part of what makes this such a great place to work," said Ben. "The ABA Free Legal Answers program allows lawyers to make a big impact in the lives of people that are vulnerable and in need. I am proud that our work with the program has led to the firm being recognized by the ABA over the last few years."
Ben's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, venture capital, private equity transactions and general corporate and contract law.
ABA Free Legal Answers is an online service where clients can ask questions related to civil legal issues from volunteer lawyers. This is part of ABA's wider initiative to narrowing the justice gap for all.
