City of Santa Ana to welcome Year of the Horse with third annual Tết Lunar New Year Festival on February 7

SANTA ANA, Calif.- In honor of Santa Ana's vibrant Asian and Vietnamese heritage, the City of Santa Ana invites the community to ring in the Year of the Horse at the third annual Tết Lunar New Year Festival! This free, family-friendly celebration takes place on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Centennial Park (3000 W. Edinger Ave.), featuring cultural performances, activities and festive fun for all ages.

"I encourage the entire Santa Ana community to come together at our annual Tết Festival to celebrate renewal, connection and cultural pride," Mayor Valerie Amezcua said. "This beloved event highlights the traditions and contributions of our Vietnamese and Asian residents and reminds us of the shared values that unite our city as we welcome a hopeful year ahead."

During this collaboration event presented by the Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency and the Santa Ana Public Library, guests can look forward to:

  • Cultural performances and live entertainment, including a lion and dragon dance
  • Cultural exhibits and giveaways (while supplies last)
  • Drum performances
  • Kids Zone
  • Library Lane
  • Food vendors
  • Arts and crafts
  • Scavenger hunt game
  • Fireworks show at 5:45 p.m.
