Phone call between Ibrahimović and Al Zayani on the situation in the Middle East and the need to reduce tensions

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani regarding the current security situation in the Middle East and its broader implications.

During the conversation, it was assessed that further deterioration of the situation must be prevented and that international efforts should be directed towards easing tensions. Ibrahimović stressed that actions by Tehran carry the risk of further deepening the crisis and distancing the region from stability.

He emphasized that Montenegro supports all legitimate activities that contribute to the protection of civilian populations, the preservation of state sovereignty, and the security of vital systems in the region.

The two officials exchanged views on possibilities for strengthening diplomatic engagement aimed at reducing tensions and enhancing regional security. In this context, Ibrahimović stated that Montenegro will continue to support international initiatives focused on dialogue, de-escalation, and the long-term preservation of stability.

In addition, readiness was expressed to continue communication and cooperation with partners from the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the coming period.
