Dog Licensing Season has Arrived
Dog owners are required by the State of Ohio to obtain a license for each dog under the owner's care age 3 months or older. The current renewal period for Franklin and Delaware County residents runs Monday, Dec. 1, 2025 through Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. Additional fees may incur if licenses are purchased after the deadline.
Licensing fees in Franklin County support the Franklin County Shelter & Adoption Center. Both the Delaware County Auditor and the Franklin County Auditor offer in-person and online renewal options.
