A.I.S.E., the European detergents and maintenance products industry association, is recruiting a Sustainability Policy Manager to join our dynamic and multicultural team in Brussels. You will be part of our Sustainability team to support the association in developing and managing its work programme on sustainability policies and legislations. You will also collaborate closely with colleagues from other departments from Regulatory Affairs, Public Affairs and Communications.
You will have the opportunity to represent the views of a leading European industry subject to sustainability legislation. You will be part of the Sustainability team, coordinating and managing daily activities related to some key EU regulations and policies on sustainability, such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, the Circular Economy Act, the Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation, the Ecolabel.
With the support of industry experts, you will also provide technical input and advice to A.I.S.E.'s strategic sustainability initiatives, related to sustainability criteria, carbon and environmental footprint, circular feedstock and, ingredients safety assessment. The sector has a long history of proactive sustainability initiatives, such as the Charter for Sustainable Cleaning and the Cleanright campaign.
These activities will involve collecting, evaluating and summarising scientific and policy information and data, developing guidance and industry positions and seeking consensus. In addition to communicating and collaborating with our members and staff colleagues within the association, you will also interact frequently with external stakeholders, such as the European institutions, other industry associations and our network of National Associations.
