Cooperation with Justice Ministry of key importance for UNODC ROSEE
Minister of Justice in a caretaker capacity Nenad Vujić met with Regional Representative for South-Eastern Europe of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Danilo Rizzi to discuss ongoing cooperation and opportunities to strengthen national and regional partnerships within the framework of the current Regional Programme for South-Eeastern Europe and beyond.
The officials noted that cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia is of key importance for the UNODC Regional Office for South-Eastern Europe (ROSEE) and for the continuation of strategic initiatives aimed at addressing shared threats and priorities.
The meeting was held in the lead-up to the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which will be organised by UNODC in Abu Dhabi from 26 September to 1 October 2026.
Vujić will participate in the Congress alongside justice officials from countries around the world, according to a statement from the Ministry of Justice.
