Human Resource Services launches refreshed website

Improvements to page navigation, expanded training resources, and a centralized home for announcements are among improvements to the recently relaunched Human Resource Services website.

The site includes pages that are easier to read and navigate, as well as a new collapsable table of contents allowing for employees to jump straight to sought-after information. Important updates, such as news about open enrollment periods or system outages, are now via the HRS announcements page. This page is accessible from either the home page or the top horizontal navigation bar.

"Guided by the question, "How can we help?" our new website reflects HRS's commitment to serving the WSU community through clear communication, accessible resources, and a focus on user needs," said Jennifer Klein, vice president and chief human resource officer.

She continued, "Phase one of our changes concentrated on enhancing and streamlining existing content, while looking ahead, phase two will introduce new tools and information the university needs, such as an interactive decision-tree for Medical Leave and Accommodation, to make navigating HR processes easier and more intuitive."

The training section of HRS website saw some of the most significant improvements in the latest revamp. Employees now have clearer explanations behind training assignments, as well as more robust professional development resources. Additionally, numerous broken or outdated pages have been removed from the site.
