Dennis Nordquist Convicted of Theft, Conspiracy, and Securities Fraud

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that following a jury trial, Dennis Nordquist, 71, of Gilford, New Hampshire, has been convicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court - Northern District, of one class A felony count of Theft By Deception, one class A felony count of Conspiracy to Commit Theft By Deception, and one class B felony count of Securities Fraud.

Mr. Nordquist was convicted for his role in securing a $962,000 loan to White Birch Brewing, LLC, a now-defunct brewery. The jury found that Mr. Nordquist conspired to obtain the loan by deception, including personally agreeing to repay the loan if the brewery defaulted, even though Mr. Nordquist had no ability or intention to repay the loan.

Mr. Nordquist is scheduled to be sentenced on July 8, 2025, in the Hillsborough County Superior Court - Northern District.

The case was investigated by Investigator Calice Ducey and prosecuted by Assistant Attorneys General Kevin P.J. Scura and J.R. Davis, each of the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau.
